INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Division of Public Works is internet hosting a public assembly Wednesday to debate plans for an $80 million levee alongside the White River within the city of Rocky Ripple.
In Could, the Rocky Ripple City Council voted 2-1 to advance the plan. Public Works officers says the present levee, which was constructed within the Thirties, received’t stand up to a flood.
