Former Jonesville Mayor Gene Pardue was honored Monday night through the Jonesville City Council assembly. Pardue served because the city’s mayor since 2013. He beforehand served the City of Arlington as Mayor from 1993 to 2001. When the 2 cities merged in 2001 Pardue served as a commissioner on the Jonesville City Council till 2013 when he was first elected as mayor.
